Synthetic beings, Androids have long been used for both recreational and military purposes by many of the galactic races. In Human society, until recently AIs have been outlawed, but contact with the Greys have allowed Androids within the Human sphere to begin to get upgrades, becoming much more lifelike in appearance and personality. Recently, laws have been passed to protect their 'lives', to which many in the Human sphere have objected. In Grey society, Androids are often used for both military and sexual labor, although are free to pursue other options.
While possessing no innate culture of their own, Androids have the ability to store vast amounts of knowledge, and are quick to adapt to situations, cultures, and even environments. Recently, an Android planet consisting of Grey sex droids was established on a barren moon, called 'Paradise', and has since caused a great many other sentient androids to begin establishing a home.

Innate Powers:
-Through downloading data, Androids have a vast knowledge of skills or area expertise on the fly. An Android can learn any skill, given they receive the programming for that skill. - Do not learn skills naturally, must purchase or obtain a Knowledge Module. These can contain any skill, relevant or not to the chosen class.
-Androids do not need to eat or breath, but can still bleed fluids
-Androids are considered to have a complete set of Prosthetic limbs,brain and organs.
-Androids are unaffected by Suit Breeches.
-Immune to mind attacks
-Androids have a cap of 300 IQ, regardless of what species makes them.
Detriments:
-Often perceived as tools and inanimate objects, do not have rights in most sectors.
-Susceptible to EMP and electrical shock, making them Vulnerable to Shock Damage. -If hit by an EMP, immediately shut down for 1d6 rounds, while an electrical attack forces them to roll a 1d20. On a 1-5, they are stunned for that round, and always take 1d6 extra damage from electrical attacks.
-Cannot be healed, nor heal normally, and must be repaired. (Hourly and In combat Healing cannot go above 0 without Nanite Upgrades)
-Androids can only take Technology and Cybernetic upgrades, although gain access to Memory Upgrades. No psionics or genetics.
-Can be hacked with a successful 1d20+Technology versus their Mental Resistance, although it must be maintained each round or the Android regains self awareness.
-Cannot gain new programming, increased physical strength or mental capabilities without getting upgrades. Must spend 250 credits for each point put into IQ and Physical Force scores.
-Cannot be used as a Hybrid of any type.
