Body Armor Empty
PostSubject: Body Armor   Body Armor EmptyMon Aug 19, 2019 1:03 pm

Body Armor:

Used for either space exploration, or simply a combat suit, Body Armor gives enhancement to an individual in and outside of combat. All power suits come with 4 hours of air and power in them.

Light Environ Armor:

Environ armor is fundamentally just a jumpsuit. While it offers little protection against gunfire and small arms, it allows for maneuverability and protects against environmental hazards, as well as the vacuum of space.

Sky Walker MK II:
A standard, effective model used by humans for repairs and exploration. Cheap and easy to manufacture, it's widely used and easily replaced.
Defense: +1
Suit HP: 10
Credits: Free - Standard issue armor given to registered adventurers and military
Suit Weight: 10 lbs

Zephyr MK VI:
While the Zephyr suits have always been outstripped by others, the company developing them have been bought out by Unicorp, a Grey company that decided to dig up the old suit and upgrade it. The results were the Zephyr MK VI.
The suit offers little protection, little more than carbonite mesh. What makes it far more reliable is the 'sliding' technology adapted into the suit. The slide technology added was based on newer Warp drives. The ending result is that it allows the suit wearer to briefly enter into Warp space, no more than a few meters at a time. While this heavily drains the suit's internal power core, vastly decreasing life support, it allows the user to blink from cover to cover while taking less chance of fire.
Defenses: +1
Suit HP: 5
Credits: 9000
Suit Weight: 12 lbs
Special: Gain Short Range teleportation every 1d4 rounds. Drains 10 minutes of suit battery.

Mind Slayer:
The lightly armored, ominously named Mind Slayer, is a Camarian suit used by the Protectorate for their ground troops when they and the Collective were at war. It comes complete with a specialized ceramic chest guard, and carbonite wiring, as well as a 'mind spike' system. Due to construction on the helm, psionic attacks receive a backlash, as well as offering protection against psionic attacks. The drawback is that, since it was built to protect against psionic attacks, its physical defenses leave something to be desired.
Defenses: +1
Psionic Resistances: +4
Suit HP: 5
Special:  Mind Spike System
Every psionic attack made, hit or miss, recoils 1d6 damage back in the attacker.

Suit Weight: 13 lbs

Psion Armor:
Developed by the Camarians many hundreds of years to augment the already impressive psionic powers they rely on, it employs ceramics and specialized minerals called 'Star Stones' embedded in the helmet, while the design itself amplifies brain waves. The end result is, while possessing weak defensive properties, gives increased psionic powers.
Defenses: +1
Suit HP: 10
Special-Psionic Augment
Increases Psionic Accuracy by +3, increases psionic damage by 1d6
Cost: 4000
Suit Weight: 12 lbs

Valkyrie Flight Armor:
Developed for space combat, the Valkyrie Armor was a joint effort between Grey and Human engineers for agile, yet durable armor. While not offering the same protection as other assault armor types, it allows for quick movement; as well as the ability to fly in bursts.
Defense: +1
Suit HP: 10
Credits: 4,200
Notes: Capable of flight (3 rounds, 1d4 rounds recharge), increased movement speed(Covers two areas instead of one). This can be used as both light Environ armor or Medium Assault Armor.
Suit Weight: 28 lbs

High Altitude Jump Suits:
Developed for scouts to jump in undetected, high altitude jumpsuits have rather high armor capable of withstanding re-entry, as well as limited flight capabilities.
Defense: +2
Suit HP: 15
Credits: 4,000 (Requires High Altitude Jump Training)
Notes: Capable of limited flight(3 rounds, 1d4 rounds recharge), increasing movement speed (Covers two areas instead of one).
Suit Weight: 30 lbs

Whisper Battlesuit Mk 111:
50% carbon fiber, 50% 5th generation Hybrid Kevlar. H8 Harness – Satin Weave. Gorgeous, soft, and nearly indestructible. Whisper armor is the choice for commando’s and deep end reconnaissance. The fully enclosed breathing system allows the user to operate in even the most hostile environments.
Defense: +2
Suit HP: 15
Credits: 10,000
Suit Weight: 13 lbs

Medium Assault Armor:

Assault armor has been standard in most militaries for eons. Durable, yet able to allow for freedom of movement, it is often preferred of most adventuring and combat specialists.

Excalibur Assault Armor:
Standardly used by Human forces going into hostile zones, the Excalibur Assault Armor is woven with carbon fibers and has refined steel plates. This prevents penetration from small arms fire, as well as giving moderate protection against larger threats.
Defense: +3
Suit HP: 20

Suit Weight: 30 lbs

Hunter Armor:
Goz standard battle armor made from the native Cresus Hunters of Gozen Prime.  While seemingly primitive, the carapace offers high armor value and flexibility. Favored by Goz military, hunters, and survivalists, a breathing system has been added for hostile environments.
Defense: +3
Suit HP 25
Credits: 4,500
Suit Weight: 34 lbs

Valkyrie Flight Armor:
Developed for space combat, the Valkyrie Armor was a joint effort between Grey and Human engineers for agile, yet durable armor.  While not offering the same protection as other Assault armor types, it allows for quick movement, as well as the ability to fly in bursts.
Defense: +2
Suit HP: 20
Credits: 5,200
Notes: Capable of flight(3 rounds, 1d4 rounds recharge), increased movement speed (Increases range of movement to cover two areas instead of one). This can be used as both light Environ armor or Medium Assault Armor.
Suit Weight: 40 lbs

Bishamoten:
Named after the japanese god of fortunate warriors, this new set of armor has a typical samurai motif to it. The armor features expanding plates to reduce explosive damage, as well as offering superior protection against small arms fire. Development of this armor has gone on for decades in order to perfect it.
What sets the Bishamoten apart from other armor is that it has a built in computer system, thermal optics, and a sword built into the back compartment for melee combat.  Sensors within the armor give a 360 display in thermal optics, preventing most stealth systems from ambushing the wielder.
Defenses: +3
Suit HP: 30
Credits: 10000
Special: Gives the user a 360 display of all around them, thermal optics, and a standard one handed or two handed sword.
Weight: 50 lbs

Wastewalker Armor:
Galvyran's designed this armor for the harsh climate of their planet, it's very build specifically made to maintain the user's normal body temperature in extreme heat.  When the Kryslin first visited their world, they realized it proved effective against the weaponry the slime-like creatures employed.
Wastewalker Armor is effective against thermal attacks. It uses plating with highly insulated minerals native to the Galvyran homeworld, and keeps a locked on helmet and fully pressurized compartments. The end result is a durable, and reliable armor suited for extreme heat and cold.
Defenses: +3
Suit HP: 25
Special: Negates 2d6 heat and cold damage, increased protection against subarctic and extremely hot temperatures.
Credits: 7000
Suit Weight: 48 lbs

Heavy Armor “Titan Suits”:

Assault armor is standard by most militaries, but the dreaded “Titan Suits” are the most feared. Amounting to mechanized exo suits surrounding the wearer, it offers extremely high protection against oncoming fire, able to shrug off most attacks and withstanding massive punishment. The suit is so heavy it requires special joints to allow movement, but still taxes the wearer's physical strength. All Titan suits come with the Mechanical Joints tech upgrade.

Hercules MKV:
Developed during “Operation Raid”, the Hercules was designed specifically to fight against the Zax. This allowed Humans to go toe to toe against the much larger aliens.  While there is peace between the two races, the Hercules is still used.
Defense:+5
Suit HP: 50
Credits: 8,000
Suit Weight: 110 lbs

Exarch:
While Zax are not known for being great engineers, years of combat have allowed them to perfect battle suits. The Exarch, named after the great heroes of Zax legend, provides extreme protection, making the already formidable Zax nigh indestructible.
Defense: +6
Suit HP: 50
Credits: 9,000
Suit Weight: 115 lbs

Death Machine:
A recent development, the Death Machine sports a skull visage on the helmet, and offers superior protection due to its carbonite steel metal plates. Named by its test pilot, as he described it as “The Grim Reaper of the Battlefield”.
Defense: +7
Suit HP: 60
Credits: 12,000
Suit Weight: 120 lbs

Paladin:
The paladin was developed for use into hostile drop situations, putting far more emphasis on defense than most models. Named due to its “White Knight” appearance, The Paladin is colored completely white, with increased armor plating along the vital organs and chest area, underneath its outer hull is a subdermal mesh that allows for further defense.

This model is equipped with a Combat Shield that further increases its formidable defenses, the shield can be extended or retracted to allow for the rider to switch between larger guns and smaller ones.

Defense: +5, +8 While using Shield
Suit HP: 60
Shield HP: 15
Credits: 15,000
Suit Weight: 115 lbs, 100 lbs without shield
