Racial Veteran Class
Saboteur:
"They'll never see me coming!"
Nemurans are not violent by nature. While they will fight, they generally go out of their way to avoid confrontations. This is deep seated from having to dodge the predators of Raxis. This, their small proportions, and heightened senses make them natural hiders. While most would find this as cowardice, the Nemurans have since trained themselves to fight wars another way. After all, what better way to deal with your enemies than to sabotage them at every turn? The Saboteur was born this way, the best infiltrators among their race. Saboteurs are some of the most hated members of any army, Bulor have several records of the slippery Nemura entering their ship, and managing to disable all their systems before they didn't even know what was wrong. Because of this, they also tend to have a great deal of other race's systems, ships, and even capabilities.
While you may have not been a Saboteur on Raxis, you picked up the basics at a young age. You've only gotten better at being sneaky with more experience in space. Sure, you aren't the biggest or toughest, but you know that a flea in the worst of places can make the biggest dog in the fight go insane with frustration. While little different than a scout, you do better at making sure nothing runs right on ships, weapons, armor, and you do well at it.
Requires: Nemura, 10 completed missions
Chew the Wires:
You know the best ships, armor, and weapons don’t do an enemy any good if they don't work right. When you infiltrate an area, you may roll Luck or Technology on any check to identify important workings on any weapons, armor, and primary systems on ships. You can choose to disable them, or cause them to backfire on success.
Sneaky:
You know how to be sneaky, even inside of combat; and if they lose track of you, that’s all you need to make them pay. In battle, you may roll a Luck or Technology roll at the start of each round. On a success, the enemies lose track of you, allowing you to freely move. Sneaky can only be applied in areas with cover, or an event occurs that would give you some semblance of cover or loss of line of sight with all enemies. Sneaky grants all the benefits of stealth, or infiltration, and you gain the Engineering Hacking skill without being multi classed as an Engineer.
Saboteur Optional Skills:
VR Plague Bearer:
Sometimes the best way to deal with something is to hack it from within the system, and you have enough know how to do it! When hacking, you gain advantage. In addition, you also gain +2 for Technology or Luck skill when Hacking.
Cornered Rat:
Fear is good for surviving, but sometimes you know that you have to stand your ground. You lose the Nemurian Prey Reaction detriment.
