Racial Veteran Class
Maestro:
"This symphony will be the last you ever hear, friend!"
The Maestros of Raxis are widely regarded as some of the best musicians in the universe. They take sound, unravel it, adjust it, and make it pleasing to the ears. One Maestro bragged that even the most vulgar of sounds can be pushed to make the greatest symphony, given time and a prose to work from. What isn’t well known is that is that the Craokar have long employed combat Maestros as well. Whereas what the general public knows about the sweet music they can play, few live to tell the tale of the concussive and slicing music that their combat counterparts employ.
Like most Craokar, you've always been attuned to sound, its application, and music. Even while you explored space, you've never lost that inclination to it. You might use your natural talent to entertain your shipmates, or even to gain a quick credit or two. At some point, however, you began to understand that it could be also be used as a devastating weapon, capable of rending enemies apart, disorientating them, or shattering their armor apart.
Requires: Craokar, 10 completed missions
Symphony of Sonics:
You've mastered the aspect of sound, able to project it, manipulating it at will, and turn it into something more. Your “Frog Song” no longer damages allies in its maximum damage setting. In addition, you can mimic voices or sounds at will.
Sonic Strike:
Your control over your sonics is so tuned that you can cause sudden shock waves of sound to surge forth. Once per round, you send a concussive sonic blast out, either area of effect, or against a single target. As an area of effect, you hit all enemies in the area for 1d6 sonic damage, unarmored targets suffer disadvantage to all attacks for 1d4 rounds. As a single target, the target takes 4d6 sonic damage, take disadvantage to all attacks, and ongoing 1d4 bleed damage.
Maestro Optional Skills:
Nauseating Sonics:
So effective is your concussive shrieks that the effect is all that much more devastating. When you use your sonic strike, the disadvantage to all attacks is turned into halved instead.
Proper Direction:
You know sound is a weapon, and when used against you, you decide to give it proper direction. When a sonic attack is made against you, you may choose to use your reaction shot to deflect it back at your attacker.
