Galvyran themselves stand at around 7 feet high, covered in yellow scales with black spots. They also have a wide head, heavy eyelids, and a secondary membrane for sandstorms. Their eyesight is poor, but they have very effective taste and smell capable of tasting prey. Friends and foes are determined by this, while visual cues are primarily just used for locating and firing. Bipedal, they're lithe and muscular, wearing usually very little outside of battle other than jewelry made from gems, sinew, and loincloths. They have large, rounded, and fat tails which serve to store water and fat for long periods without either. Being carnivorous, they have sharp, pointed teeth for gripping, but swallow meat whole rather than chewing.

Racial Veteran Class

Desert Wind:
"The Desert shares its secrets, and lethality, to those who simply listen."

Galvyran see the world of Kar as their testing area, as both a spiritual place and one where one may learn of the true nature of survival and combat. The super heated atmosphere and sudden sandstorms tempers the body, the natural predators and pitfalls of the sand sharpens the mind. Each clan leader sees the sands differently, but all see it as a teacher of perceptive. Those that have mastered the way become known as Desert Wind, masters of combat and sages in one being. Some see them as peerless fighters, while others see them as something to learn from.

While you traveled the galaxy, you never lost the teachings of Kar. Whatever your reasoning for leaving your homeworld, you are still true to your heritage. You have spent your free time contemplating the desert, of its duality of life and death, and applying it to your combat. As time has gone on, you've incorporated more and more of  your knowledge to fighting, to philosophy; until at one point, they became one and the same.  In battle, you are a force to be reckoned with, wise and cunning yet powerful and cruel. All of these things you employ. You are no longer one warrior fighting, but a force of nature.

Requires: Galvyran, 10 completed missions

Life and Death:
You have long seen the duality of the desert, and incorporate the teachings in both fighting and outside of it. For every round in battle that passes, you deal 1 point increased damage, while healing yourself for an extra 1 health per round. Damage bonus is not taken into account when dealing critical damage, or double damage, though can increase indefinitely. Healing caps out at 6 additional health per round.

The Desert Reclaims All:
Your attacks are devastating, and seemingly draw in your opponent's strength, sapping theirs and augmenting your own. Your melee attacks halve your opponent's Physical Force stat, and adds it to your own for one round. Ranged attacks deal critical damage to structures and vehicles.

Desert Wind Optional Skills:

Boon of Life:
Life has increased for you, and you have bonded closely with the aspect of regeneration and renewal. Your Life and Death increases your regeneration per round by 2 instead of 1, with it's cap increasing to 8. You passively gain +2 to Defense. Cannot take Boon of Death.

Boon of Death:
Death favors you, and you savor death with the joy of any predator. Life and Death increases your damage increase by 2 instead of 1 per round. In addition, killing an enemy gives you 5 health back. Cannot take Boon of Life.

Sands of Kar:
When making a melee attack, the effect of 'The Desert Reclaims All', is doubled. When you halve the opponent's Physical Force, and add it to your own, you instead add double. Ranged Damage to structures and vehicles is considered Max Damage, as well as Critical.
