Racial Veteran Class
Immortal:
"I never fall, and that is why they will lose."
Guardias Immortals have been used for several hundred years, the nanite constructs proving to be extremely durable with shrugging off most attacks even without combat suits, while seemingly coming back from the dead. While all Unseelie are seemingly invulnerable to arms fire, Immortals take that one step further. A small squad of Immortals are usually enough to deal with any situation, and even as one falls, it simply rises up again to continue the fight.
Your nanites are constantly evolving, learning, containing your experiences so that they can be incorporated into a log. But they also toughen, grow stronger. Perhaps you were aware when seemingly every bit of your body became subject to your will, or perhaps not. Whatever the case, the normal parlor tricks of a Guardias became child’s play. Whereas you could once only make weapons and shapes, you could take on forms without the slightest mistake, your body is nearly indestructible, and you are a force to be reckoned with in fire fights. Even should your body lose its stability, you simply reform yourself and fight on.
Requires: Guardias, 10 completed missions
Immortality Initiative:
Your body has become a lot stronger than when you were first made, or awaken, and you can use every single one of your nanites at will rather than a mass amount. You may wear heavy armor, in addition, once per battle, if brought to 0 hp, you may choose to raise back up to full hit points after a round has passed.
Unstable Matrix:
Your nanite composite has become much less unstable, allowing you to meld and build as you wish. You can equip Cybernetics, which deconstruct and bond with your body, allowing it to reconstitute in your new form. You do not require prosthetics in order to equip them, although due to having to specially make it to fit into your system, and increases the price of all Cybernetic upgrades to 1.5x cost.
Immortal Optional Skills:
Cell Divide:
Your nanite control has reached such a degree that you can even form up into multiple images of yourself, each capable of attacking. You may split yourself up to 5 times, each capable of firing or fighting if given a weapon, although are incapable of psionic attacks other than the main body. Each has a proportion of your HP equal to how many times your split (For example, splitting into two would mean each would have 50% of your maximum hp). Should a doppleganger fall, it can use Immortality Initiative. Should it be brought down to 0 hp without, you lose proportional HP for the duration of the mission to the clone loss.
Explosive Inured:
To a Guardias, explosions and grenades are devastating. It spreads over the body and destroys the nanites. But you've learned how to counter that, solidifying at the right moment to make the damage as minimal as possible. You no longer take double damage from explosives.
